ARTIST'S STATEMENT
The impermanence and puncture of realities influences my work.
Using light, shadow and projection to provoke intervention of the canvas, the image becomes veiled by illusory fragmentation and appears non static, no longer adhering to its fixed dimension.
Frequently I use the body as the canvas as the reality we experience is negated by the confines and physical boundaries imposed upon us as we inhabit our human form.
I seek to capture these fragile moments of transience of the physicality of the canvas and record them by employing the media of photography or video, as they occur.
